Her own company was established in the late 1970s as the first Queensland wholesale distributor of complementary medicine products. She continues to utilise these essential business, clinical and technical skills which have naturally evolved over the years as consumer needs and the regulatory environment have changed.

Always an avid reader and researcher, she began in the 1970’s what has become a lifelong quest to improve human health through drugless health interventions. Her 30 years’ clinical practice have given her the wealth of experience needed to better understand the factors which govern the development of successful dietary and therapeutic products. Many product concepts have come and gone over the decades but it takes first-hand clinical experience to really know what works in practice – and what doesn’t! This fact gives Christine a very real advantage when it comes to formulating functional and nutraceutical products. In addition to her role as an Industry Consultant in this field, she is currently engaged in part-time PhD research at the University of Queensland investigating the mechanisms and clinical effects of a bioactive functional food compound.

John Hando is a civil engineering graduate from the University of Sydney with a postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Engineering from the Queensland University of Technology. He also completed studies in Finance at the Securities Institute in Brisbane and the Graduate Enterprise Program, University of Queensland Graduate School of Management.

He managed large road highway construction projects in Australia and the site engineering for a multi-story building at Heathrow airport in London. He also managed design teams for a number of multi-million dollar civil engineering projects, including a section of the South East Freeway in Brisbane; a zinc smelting plant in Townsville and a large container port for the Indonesian Government at Medan in North Sumatra, The works included roads, railways, lighting, water supply, drainage, sewerage and environmental control works.

He then founded and ran an electronics retailing business for over 15 years until sold, and was a Director of a company that designed, developed and manufactured agricultural tillage equipment for broad-acre farming. Since 1998, he has adapted his project management and environmental engineering expertise to the design and manufacturing processes for functional foods. His technical expertise has supported many new products including the Brainchild development of CellActiv® - a highly bioactive functional broccoli sprout product. This product delivers a uniquely high potency of a recently discovered bioactive compound, Sulforaphane, which is the subject of extensive exciting research into its powerful potential benefits for human health.

In his early career running a successful business in Electronics products, Dr Andrew Hu travelled extensively around the world. Due to the depletion in his natural energy, lack of rest and unhealthy diet, he suffered from regular high fever, health checkup shows that his liver and kidneys were failing. By 1988, both western medical doctors and traditional Chinese medical doctors told him that he only has less than 24 months to live.

He decided to do his own research on natural healing to recover himself from the sickness, his health improves through the years and in 1995 he decided to migrate to Australia to continue the healing process. His wife also suffered from malignant ovarian cyst and using his natural healing method, his wife recovered.

He continued to work on anti-cancer research with a well known university. He has worked with near to 4,000 people on anti-cancer clinical research. For the last 20 years, Dr. Hu has worked on stem cell research, natural healing, quantum physics, anti-cancer research and nutritional sciences.
